I have the same problem. If I add a featured image, I’m still getting the “Image Pending” message. But if I add a image to my article, this image will be used as featured image.
Any idea how to fix that?
OK. Please redownload the theme – https://magpress.com/download/201/. Replace only the index.php with your current one. I’ve fixed the thumbnail image coding problem there. Thanks.

Please make sure no plugins conflicted with the slider’s jquery and also make sure you have more than 1 post on the category you chose to feature. Thanks.
How can i disable image thumbnail in homepage?
Hai. Open the index.php and delete the div class “thumb” and all code within it. That should do it. Thanks.
