Yes you can use custom field name ‘feat-img’ and the full image url on custom field value on the featured posts.

Wow. An amazing theme you have here o_o. I don’t usually post comments on themes I use, but this theme is by far the best, and the easiest to use. This theme deserves more attention.
The featured slider content on the site stopped working. Is this because it is not compatible with latest wordpress?
working fine in my end, check if its plugin conflict?
What’s the best way to check for plugin conflict?
deactivate them one by one and re-check the site would be the best options.
