Hello—
This is a killer theme—thank you very much for making it available.
I do have a quick question—is it possible, and how, to change the title and add an image to it? What I would like to do is put an image behind the title, get rid of the ad space, and just make the whole top section dedicated to the site title and image.
Thanks for your help, and thanks for the theme!
JW
That is really and attractive theme because this is in my Favourite colour.! i think this theme suits on mobile site!
Hai, JW. Thanks, I’m glad you like it. Regarding your question, just it can be done. Please open the header.php and delete div id topbanner and the php code within it. Then, to make the siteinfo box spread width and have your own big image background, open style.css and change the #siteinfo to:
#siteinfo {
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
height: auto;
width: 100%;
text-align: left;
clear: both;
background-image: url(images/yourbigimage.jpg);
}
*Please adjust your image, header’s padding and margin accordingly..
Please try it out and let me know how it works..Thanks.
Ronald—
That’s great—I’m still figuring this stuff out on my own—and having some difficulties learning the html—but I will give this a try. Hopefully I don’t screw it up too bad.
Thanks for all your help, and thanks again for making this theme available to use—I can’t wait to get it up and running!
Have a great night—I may have a few more questions for you before it’s all said and done—-hope you don’t mind.
Jeff
Hi again Ronald—
On the example picture above of the site, how did you get the latest articles by category in the sidebar? Was this done with a plug-in?
Also–are there any other plugins you would recommend for this theme?
Thanks again–you rock,
JAW
I figured out the sidebar and featured articles, so nevermind on that one.
If you do have some recommendations for plugins that would work well with this theme that would be very appreciated.
Thanks again,
JAW
Hai, JW. I had made some php fix on the featured-category.php of this theme yesterday. Please redownload this theme and only replace the featured-category.php if the number of post to show setting is not working on your current theme. Thanks.
Ronald—
Thanks—and I replaced the featured category php, but the posts are still coming up the same for every category I set in the theme options. I have gone back and double checked the tags, but whatever I do the same posts show up under the different categories.
Any idea why?
Thanks,
JAW
Hai JW, I also noticed with the problem. Are the ‘same posts show up under different categories’ behaviour also happen when you use other theme? Please try using other theme to check out if the problem still exist. Thanks.
Ronald–
No, I’m not having the same problem with other themes. I tried two different ones and they came out okay–just seems to be happening here in this one for some reason. I also went back through each post to make sure they weren’t duplicated in categories, and no luck there.
Any ideas?
Also—are there any plug ins you would recommend that would work well with this theme?
Thanks again for all the work you’ve done on this–I love it!
JAW
Hai JW. If possible, can you provide me a temporary access to your wp-admin and ftp via email, so that I can fix the problem for you. Thanks.
Ronald–
No problem—where do you want me to email you the info? My email is jwdeek@gmail.com–if you want to contact me I’ll get you in the admin.
Thanks,
JAW
great job man u the best, i have question about the video on this theme, when i post a video in it, then i visit the site instead of seeing the video i see a picture it doesn’t display the video. is it possible to fix that. thanks in advanced….
Please refer to the email I’ve sent you. Thanks.
Hey Ronald–
Quick question for you—-is there any plug-ins, or any way, to make it so I can create posts on subpages? Like if I have a book review page, I would like to have a tab at the top for people to click, then be able to create posts to just that page, and have multiple posts on that page–just like the main page.
Do you know how I can do that, or if there is any specific plugins that would work with this theme to create a full site?
Thanks again for all your help–you guys are the best!
JAW
Hai, JW. I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for. Please check out TDO Mini Forms.
Hey Ronald–
What I’m trying to do is this—I’ve got tabs for like Contact, Podcast, Book Reviews, Sites, etc—what I would like to do is be able to create posts for those pages that would just show up on that page I want. Like, lets say I review a book and just want to post that on the book review tab and nowhere else–so that when somebody clicks on the Book Review tab there are a series of posts on that page only–like it’s another blog page almost I guess—how would I do that? Are there any plugins that make it so I can create posts just to publish to those tabbed pages?
Thanks again for everything—you rock!
JAW
Hey Ronald, don’t work slider… help me
I love this theme as well as many of your other designs!
I have a question. How do you get authors pics to display as a thumbnail next to their name when they comment?
Thnx,
Shauno
Hai. I believe that’s gravatar. You can check it out on http://en.gravatar.com/. It will shows up when they use the email registered on gravatar.com to post comment.
Hi your templates rock. It was not until after I customized it that I noticed the embeded links in the footer. While I like for you to get credit I don’t want those links in the footer.
How is it that your users can remove these correctly while leaving your site name on the footer??
Please use the contact form above to reach me..Thanks.
Thank you for your great theme! It’s been a real help to revamp our website.
I had question about removing a link across our top bar. The website shows 2 links that say HOME. I’d like to either remove one or at least rename it to link it to a new page. Is there a way to do it? I do know some code, so if you have any suggestions that involve editing the header.php, let me know. Thanks!
OK. Please open the header.php and look for div id navleft, inside it you’ll see some php code, just delete the first li line containing the home query. Thanks.
Hello Ronald.I’m from Bulgaria and i have a problem with your theme.Well the slider is not working can you help me?
Thanks for your previous help!
I have another question. Is it possible in your theme to just have the left and right sidebars show up on the home page? It would be nice to have that extra space on other pages of ours, such as the product page.
Sure. If you’re familiar with php code, you can try applying conditional tags on the get_sidebar only to show on home page and show your own custom sidebar page on others. Please refer to this info:

Hello,
Great theme. I was wondering if you could help me. I paste an address for a youtube video in the youtube section of the them options and enable youtube, but I see nothing on the page. You can see for yourself. Any suggestions?

Please open the gallery.css inside the css folder and look for any reference to that image files and delete it.
Hi Roland
Your sites rock. I am having problems with the featured news image slider. There isn’t much up as it is a new site but the image flashes up and then dissapears. The post wording seems to be there just no image, ideas ?
Is it possible to add a facebook link and others such as Stumble and digg ?
Thanks for your help.
Slider fixed. Still need links though.
Thanks.
Well, you can try manually adding them on the featured.php.
