i think there’s a logo setting in theme options.
yes there is, but there is no option to hide that text, as you can see i have uploaded a logo using theme logo setting. after uploading logo, text is still showing.
You can add display:none on the style.css > #site-title and #site-description.

you need to have image attach in ‘featured image’ for each posts.
